Salary Based on Qualification: $21.50 hourly with BA; $19.50 hourly with AA; $18.50 hourly with FCD; $17.50 hourly in progress of Family Credential
Weeks per Year: 48

General Summary:

We are seeking a Head Start Family Advocate who is passionate about achieving positive child and family outcomes through high-quality engagement in social services activities with families. Family Advocates build partnerships and facilitate access to community services for children and families enrolled in Head Start and Early Head Start. This position coordinates with other specialists in the content areas of education, health (medical, dental, nutrition, mental health), etc. to provide quality services to children and families and to support the goals of the family and the program. Minimum requirement is, within eighteen months of hire, a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling or a related field.

Salary:   $21.50 per hour with BA degree; $19.50 per hour with AA degree; $18.50 per hour with Family Development Credential; $17.50 per hour in progress of credential/certificate
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, M-F, 48 weeks per year
Location:  Woodbourne or Monitcello, NY
